Jordan Super Fly - Grey - University BlueWe’ve seen a few different ‘RTTG’-labeled editions that have a tie-in with this summer’s Olympic Air Jordan blowout, but what about the ‘other’ Jordan Super Fly colorways? We can still expect more traditional styles on this upcoming Jordan Brand performance basketball model, like this grey and black pair whose relatively simple build allows greater attention for the Hyperdunk- and JB’s own CP.2Quick-like external heel counter. That’s the kind of build that lets you know these are supremely light without sacrificing their competitive edge, and you can see a bunch of detailed images below. Let us know how these compare to the more colorful RTTG Super Flys and stick with Sneaker News for release info on all of them. Photos: TaobaoJordan Super Fly528650-007
Nike Kobe VII System iD SamplesWe’ve seen a few different previews of The Nike Kobe VII System as created using the NIKEiD online customization service, and now that Kobe Bryant’s latest Nike Basketball signature has been well established in the context of the still young NBA regular season, here are a few new looks to get your imagination going. It’s a trio split 2:1 between Lakers and Bulls colorways as well as Attack Strong versus Attack Fast interchangeable bootie setups. Of course, you can also purchase extra customized inserts for the Zoom Kobe VII on NIKEiD, so a colorway slightly less obviously team oriented than these could potentially take on a huge range of looks depending on what’s within. More images await your click on the jump below, and let us know which colorway you think looks best on the Zoom Kobe 7.

Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Bel Air Light Graphite
Air Jordan XIV 'Light Graphite' - Available on eBayThe upcoming Air Jordan XIV ‘Light Graphite’ isn’t the first time that Jordan Brand has experimented with this color on this model. Back in 2005, the Air Jordan XIV Light Graphite/Chartreuse colorway used a similar color scheme and were an instant hit due to its refreshing take on an older model. Grey has proved to be a very popular color regardless of the shoe its used on and have experienced success across the board. Will this Air Jordan XIV share that success? We’ll have to wait and see. If you can’t wait until October, a few pairs of these are floating around online including this size 10 from lilshk54321 on eBay.

Air Jordan V "Black Grape"The upcoming release of the Air Jordan V “Grape” will certainly be picked clean from the vines, but how about this other seasonal variety? The Air Jordan V “Black Grape” features the same mix of Emerald and Purple, but instead with a black nubuck upper replacing the classic white leather. This yin-yang arrangement of grapes is certainly a treat for Retro fans, but don’t forget that “Black Grape” was already done by a sneaker customizer not long ago! Check out the extra angles below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more details on the Air Jordan V “Black Grape”.via soledivision

Jordan 6 Rings GS - White - Legion Red - Black - Wolf GreySince the Jordan 6 Rings seems to be all over the place as the hybrid model of choice from Jordan Brand, should we ever anticipate seeing the Jordan Son of Mars series again? We don’t have the answer to that, but hopefully the myriad styles for the former will be enough to satisfy your appetite. Up next is this pair, which has a little bit of that Bulls flavor thanks to the white/red/black combination. Stay with us after the break to see a full set of images on the new Jordans in question and watch for them to hit Jordan Brand retailers soon.Source: Finishline

Air Jordan III – White – Fire Red – Cement Grey – Black | New PhotosHas there ever been a signature basketball sneaker better than the Air Jordan III? Complex.com says no, and judging by the rate at which AJIII retros sell out (we’re talking mere minutes here, folks), the general consensus is that this is one of the best sneakers of any kind, ever. Cole Johanson’s Doernbecher x Air Jordan 3 Retro is quite impressive, especially in light of the recently revealed reflective 3M mudguard, but it’s hard to improve upon this impeccable original. The ‘White Cement’ AJ3 used grey to add balance to the Bulls’ high contrast palette years before lifestyle sneakers made this a common color, just one of many lasting impacts from MJ’s 1988-89 campaign. Craig Ehlo came up short that year but you can avoid the same fate in 2011 by grabbing what’s sure to be one of next year’s hottest drops waaay early, courtesy of Osneaker‘s limited size run.Style: 136064-105Color: White/Fire Red-Cement Grey-Black

Air Jordan 11 "Pantone" to Release in 2014?An Air Jordan 11 Retro releasing at the end of the year isn’t a surprising headline, but how about if it’s in a colorway of a highly coveted sample? According to oregonsole, the Pantone 11 may release close to the end of the year. The samples first emerged in early 2012 and didn’t make much noise until Usher randomly received a pair, but early reports have these pegged as a 2014 release. Stay tuned for more updates and let us know if you’re looking forward to these UNC-inspired kicks!Source: btn_16Pictured is the sample version of the Air Jordan 11 .Pantone

Air Jordan 6 Rings – Black – Dark Charcoal | New ImagesAn all-black Air Jordan 1 Anodized released as part of Jordan Brand’s December lineup and here’s a familiar hybrid model with its own nod toward Nike Foamposite technology. The Air Jordan Six Rings is pictured above in a black and Dark Shadow colorway that’s most notable for its use of a pearlized leather on the mudguard and heel that give these the same velvety sheen as Nike Basketball’s suddenly oft-copied Foams. It’s a luxurious twist on a colorway that’s a natural fit for a shoe modeled after the six MJ wore in the NBA Playoffs en route to championships and you can get a better look by clicking on the jump below. via RstorStyle: 322992-003Color: Black/Dark CharcoalNike Air Jordan 5 Retro Bel Air

2010 Future Sole Design Competition Begins TodayDo you have what it takes? Austin Jermacans had his Melo M6 design come out on top in the competition, only to have it produced and worn by the Syracuse Orangemen during the NCAA Tournament and by Carmelo Anthony during the regular season and 2010 NBA Playoffs. The Jordan Brand Future Sole Design contest officially begins today, May 1st, but with a twist; instead of designing a sneaker, the assignment is to design a Jordan T-Shirt. For more information, check out the Jordan Brand Future Sole site.

UNC Air Jordan 1 AJKODo you notice anything different about the Air Jordan 1 AJKO this time around? The tooling is actually a little bit different, as the model now uses a kit on bottom borrowed from the Nike Vandal. From what we can tell that approach is actually a lot more OG leaning than previous retro runs which have aligned the bottoms close to those found on the Air Jordan 1 proper. Anyway, stay with us after the break for a better preview of this upcoming pair of retro Jordans and then tell us in the comments if you’ll be trying to track down a pair.Source: ripcity3232Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Bel Air

Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Bel Air Away
Air Jordan XII - Gary Payton Lakers Away PEDuring the earlier part of the last decade, Gary Payton joined forces with Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’neal (bringing Karl Malone along the way) to form a super-group of NBA All-Stars in an effort to win an NBA championship. It wasn’t exactly a glove-like fit, because the Lakers stumbled in the NBA Finals, losing to the Detroit Pistons in five games. Gary Payton was in fact a Jordan Brand athlete toward the latter end of his career, and Sneaker News already gave you a look at some of his Jordan Brand PEs, like the Air Jordan XIX, Jordan Team Flow, and even the ‘Home’ colorway of the Air Jordan XII, but here’s a look at the ‘Away’, which features a black leather upper, yellow mudguard, and Payton’s insignia stitched on the outer heels of the shoe. The bidding wars have already begun for this rare Air Jordan collectible so take a look at the images below and check out the auction from the.warehouse on eBay.

Air Jordan XIV (14) Low WMNS - White - Varsity Maize | Unreleased SampleDuring the Air Jordan XIV re-issue of 2005-2006, Jordan Brand allotted three colorways just for the ladies, and had this white/varsity maize colorway released, that number would’ve been four. Here’s a look at an unreleased sample of the Air Jordan XIV Low for women in white, varsity maize, metallic silver, and black; it features a white leather upper with varsity maize on the ‘body kit’ of the Ferrari-inspired Air Jordan XIV as well as on the trim throughout the upper of the shoe, with minor black accents on the rear midsole as well as the Jordan branding. One colorway of a Air Jordan XIV Low for women was in fact released in a colorway that was entirely white with subtle hints of pink and green. Take a look at the Air Jordan XIV Low ‘Lightning’ after the jump and cop this rare sample for qkro23 on eBay.Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Bel Air

Air Jordan IV "Grey Cement"Is there yet another brand new Air Jordan IV colorway coming in 2013? It sure looks like it, as these new photos are promising an Air Jordan IV with a muted colorway sort of in line with that of the “Green Glow” pair. The sneaker lands somewhere in between the Air Jordan IV “Cool Grey” and the Air Jordan IV “Oreo”-its midsole speckled while the upper keeps things pretty colorless. See more on this black/white/grey colorway right after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more images on the Air Jordan IV “Grey Cement”.Photos: Sole Wings

Air Jordan 1 Phat GS - Black - Purple - Orange - GreenIs this another instance of the Air Jordan lineage playing with the LA Lakers colors after that isolated incident of an Air Jordan VI retro a couple years back? Sure there were a good number of Kobe Bryant pairs but it seems a little unfair to lump those kind of exclusives in with the group. Anyways, Jordan Brand has done it again, keeping a colorway completely under wraps right up until they pop in stores, turning the clock back to a certain extent to the sneaker hunting days of old. Air Jordan V "Fire Red" - Release DateOne of the confirmed Air Jordan V original colorway re-issues is the “Fire Red” colorway, best remembered for the bold red hue dominating the midsole of the shoes and more recently on the feet of the ousted Rick Ross. A leaked catalog shot from back in December revealed that the 2013 version would not feature the embroidered “23″ logo on the heel (something like what we’ve mocked up above) that was seen in both the original and 2006 Retro release, but who knows what may have changed during the production process? In any case, a confirmed release date of August 31st is now set, so let us know if these AJVs are a must-have for you amidst the recent unveilings of other big-ticket releases dropping around the same time.Air Jordan VWhite/Fire Red-Black136027-12008/31/13$160Info via sc

Jordan Evolution ’85 – White – Varsity Red – StealthOne of the featured Air Jordan models during the 2011 NBA All-Star Game was the Jordan Evolution ’85, seen on the feet of Jordan Brand athlete Joe Johnson. The Evolution ’85 is unlike any other Air Jordan shoe, as it combines a forefoot stability strap with a lightwight mesh sockliner for a supreme lock-down fit. The light elephant print applique on the heelguard adds just the right touch of nostalgia to this advanced design, and of course, classic Nike Air provides the never-fail cushioning to this great design. This new White/Varsity Red-Stealth colorway is set for March 2011 release, but they’re available now at Nikestore. Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Bel Air Military Blues
Air Jordan IV Military 2012 SampleIf 2011 is any indication of how Jordan Brand will handle its retro releases, then prepare for an onslaught of Air Jordan IV OG colorways in 2012. What’s been confirmed thus far? The White/Cements, which we all are dying to grab a hold of, and the Military Blues, which may still be fresh in our memories considering they dropped back in 2007. This shot if the 2012 Sample version of the Military IV shows very few differences between the 2007 Retro, although Niketalk member kimchee2go mentions that the ‘wings’ aren’t plastic, but a leather-y material. Another notable discrepancy is that the 2012 Retro is slated to retail for $160 – $45 more than the 2007 retail price. Now that won’t settle so easily in our stomachs, now would it? Check out the additional shot after the jump and let us know if you plan on copping these, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more information as it drops.Air Jordan IV RetroWhite/Neutral Grey-Military Blue308497-10506/2012$160
